Pine Lodge employs a high ratio of staff to residents at all times. All staff receive a comprehensive programme of training in their respective fields, which includes the recommended foundation induction training, mandatory training, and National Vocational Qualifications as required by the lead body for Health and Social Care. Training is carried out both in house and externally by recognised accredited trainers, training is on-going throughout their employment.
In addition to the training programme each member of staff has a personal development plan to ensure that their personal development and competence is maintained throughout their employment. Monthly supervisions with team leaders and management and annual appraisals.

A detailed list of qualifications held by each member of staff is held on file and also displayed in the main office.
Our staff will assist residents with all aspects of personal care, mobility and nutritional needs. We have a district nurse who comes in daily to attend to further needs should the situation arise.
